TEAM MEGAWHIPZ AKA Team Sasquatch

Team Mega Whipz (aka Team Sasquatch) is hitting the dirt for this year’s Trail Hero Expeditions, bringing a mix of veteran experience, questionable navigational choices, and plenty of trash talk.

The team is led by myself, Mike Stump, with my son-in-law, Colton Haas, strapped into the co-pilot seat. While some families might struggle in the tight quarters of an off-road rig, we have turned "familial bond" into a high-performance trail machine. Our secret weapon? A complete lack of mercy when it comes to making fun of one another.

Whether it’s debating the best line through a rock garden or Colton reminding me that my eyesight isn't what it was in the '90s, the banter inside the cab is as constant as the hum of the tires. We work so well together because we don't take the obstacles—or ourselves—too seriously. For us, the goal is simple: conquer the trail, stay shiny side up, and make sure the other guy never hears the end of it when he makes a mistake.
